This week we prepare for Pentecost. At the present time, it is important, more than ever, for us to pray for the gifts of God's Spirit. All of us need to be filled with Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of God. Only by allowing these gifts to enter deeply into our souls can we be fruitful members of God's Holy Church and the fruits of God's Spirit are charity, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, generosity, gentleness, faithfulness, modesty, self-control, and chastity.

This week, we will pray the LItany of the Holy Spirit and by so doing, prepare our hearts to receive God's Spirit at Pentecost.
